This picture of the day comes to you from Thousand Island National Park in South Eastern Ontario, Canada. Maybe you're familiar with the salad dressing of the same name?


Thousand Islands is one of Canada's lesser spoken of National Parks,  and at only 9 square kilometres it is one of Canada's smallest.

The nearest town is Mallorytown, Ontario which is accessible by the highway 401 from Toronto or Montreal. 

This picture is taken back in April of 2015 on a detour we took while making a trip to Ottawa.
